Zac and I (Peter) recently returned from Sydney to attend my grandfather's funeral. It was a time of sadness but also of thankfulness--to God for the blessing of a full life. Pops, we look forward to seeing you again in heaven.

We thank God for the wonderful life of Jack, who was called to be with his Lord on March 23, 2011, aged 94 years.
 
Dearest husband of Alma. Brother of David, Mary and Grace (all deceased). Devoted father of Fay and Chris (deceased). Cherished granddad of Peter, Andrew and Mark. Beloved pops of Zachary, Jeremy, Sophie, Noah, Maia, Jack and Jonah. Proud member of BCOF (British Commonwealth Occupation Forces).
 
Family and friends are invited to attend a thanksgiving service for Jack on Thursday, 31st March, 2011 at Rookwood Memorial Gardens and Crematorium in the West Chapel at 10am.
 
We request that you dress in colours, and instead of flowers we suggest a donation to "The Bible Society NSW" (towards "Bibles for China") or "CARE Australia."
