On Monday we moved into our new house in Alam Damai. A big red truck with five uncles came and moved all our furniture and boxes. Zac and I stayed at Aunty Natalie’s house while Mummy, Daddy and Sophie drove up and down from KL. We watched Ultraman, Ben 10, and Fireman Sam. Aunty Natalie made us watch Power Rangers too because it was her favourite movie from she was a kid. When we drove to KL one of the uncles helping to move house had to come in our car. It took two days to move house.

The next day my grandfather (Goong Goong) and my grandmother (Po Po) came. I like it when they come to visit because they buy me things, like a Ben 10 toy and my Transformers study book. They went to buy some lunch while me and Dad stayed home. For breakfast we had toast and cereal and biscuits. Today we did some homeschooling with Mummy—Let’s Read and guessing what some magnified things were, like sugar and wool.

The house is big and messy. It has boxes and toys everywhere. The house is green and white. My brother is sleeping on a bed, and I am sleeping on a mattress on the floor because my Goong Goong and Po Po are sleeping on my bed. I like my house because it’s big and strong, with lots of places to play.

Yesterday we went to Ocean Park. First we went on a sea merry-go-round. I rode on my favourite sea animal--a dolphin! Then we went to Whiskers Theatre to see a sea lion show. They were cute. Then we went to see a Panda village and some pandas. Then we went on the ferris wheel and the Frog Hopper. The Frog Hopper went up and down, up and down, like you're hopping. Then we went on a horse merry-go-round but JJ didn't want to go on the ride; I don't know why.

We went on a red cable car that went up in the air, and it had a very good view of the mountains, Ocean Park, islands and the sea. I enjoyed the view and the nice cool air. At the top of the mountain, mum and I went on a flying swing that went round and round; it was very fast, so it was very cool. I didn't feel dizzy when I came down. Then we went on the Dragon roller-coaster with Mummy. It was very exciting. Daddy didn't go on the roller-coaster because he gets dizzy. He, JJ and Sophie went on the big ferris wheel instead, with a very long queue. Then we went to Ocean Theatre and saw dolphins and sea lions doing tricks. I loved the dolphins because they did good tricks; they were amazing. I would like to get pushed along by a dolphin one day. JJ, Daddy and I went on a log ride in the Raging River. I didn't get splashed at all, but JJ and Daddy did, because I made Daddy sit at the front, and I sat at the back.

Then Mummy and I went on The Rapids ride in the Rainforest. I liked it because I got splashed this time, and people on the bridge were shooting water at us. But I didn't like it when some Chinese men pushing in front of us and blocked the way. But in the end, the guards shouted at the men, and pushed him in the ride.

Then we went to The Sea Jellyfish Spectacular and saw giant jellyfish. I liked it because the jellyfish were pretty and very big. Our clothes were glowing in the dark from the lights.

When we went on the Ocean Express train, it looked like a spaceship. On the ceiling were TVs where you can watch things that were on top of us, like being under the sea. The last thing we visited was the Grand Aquarium. There were lots of fish, in a giant tank. There were stingrays, reef sharks, hammerhead sharks, and lots of fish. I even touched a starfish. It was a fantastic day. I enjoyed all of the rides, especially the Dragon roller-coaster.

On Sunday we went to Cyberport because our friends live there now. They used to stay in Singapore, but the father now works in Hong Kong. They took us to church because they found a church for us in Hong Kong. It is called Watermark Community Church. Our friends have a view of the sea at their house. They have an indoor and outdoor playground and swimming pool. The playground and pool was very big, and I liked it because there were lots of things to play with, including a pirate ship and police ship. Jay, Annelise and I were the goodie pirates, and Sophie was the second pirate.

In Sunday School we played a game called, "1, 2, 3, 4, 5." First, everyone has to get a number, then number 1 goes first and chooses someone's number. For example, "1, 7" and the person says, "7, 2," and so on, until every gets a turn in the game. There was a competition for the most details in a picture of when Jesus was born. My friend Ethan an I won the competition (in the picture).

Then we visited Daddy's friend, Uncle Kev. He has a turtle and a massage chair. I liked the massage chair because it was very relaxing, and it massaged my backside. The turtle eats little fish that swim in his tank. But I was a little bit scared of the turtle, especially when it went for a walk on the ground. Afterwards we had dinner at my great, great grandmother's house. It was a lovely day. I hope the weather will get warmer so we can go to visit Ocean Park. I think Ocean Park is like Dreamworld. There are rides and games to place; also see animals and shows. There is a house just for a Panda. Today my Uncle Stephen went to Noah's Ark. Not the real Noah's Ark because it didn't land in Hong Kong.

On Wednesday we went to the airport because we were going to go to Hong Kong to visit my daddy's Nanna (NeNe). We have an aunty called Aunty Yolanda; today she took us out to buy things and have lunch together. We are staying at Aunty Eileen's house. Aunty Yolanda's house has a garden with two turtles in it. It has a pond, stepping stones, a swing, fish, plants, and grass. When my Aunty Shevon was little, when she watched the fish swim under the bridge she fell in the water! That would be funny! Today we turned the turtle upside down and watched him come out. But it didn't come out so we turned it back the right way, and then ten minutes later it came out and walked all the way to the pile of leaves in the corner to hide. We go up to NeNe's house for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

It is cold in Hong Kong. I wear my jacket nearly all the time. I love Hong Kong because it is nice and cool, with lots of shops. Aunty Yolanda used to have a dog, but she died. We went on seven transportations: airplane, bus, tram, car, walking, train, and taxi. I feel happy and excited to visit Hong Kong. You buy things and do things that we don't get in Malaysia, like catching trams, and there are lots of shops. And I like visiting my aunties, friends, and relatives.

On Wednesday we caught a plane because we had to fly to Hong Kong. We caught a plane that was called Air Asia. It took four hours to get to Hong Kong because our plane was not going fast. Then we caught a shuttle bus because it was the fastest vehicle in the country. Then we took a taxi that took us to the apartment that we are staying in. We took over 1000 cars and I forgot to tell you about the train ride: there was blue flashing light so we know when our stop comes. And we saw a Christmas tree with beautiful lights, with changing colours, on the tall office building. My favourite transport was the shuttle bus because it was fast. The end.

Today Daddy and I went for a bike ride on the safe road and on the main road. I rode over four speed bumps. On the speed bumps I feel myself bump, bump, bump, bumping. And we went over the grass in the park. Pedalling through the pretty footpath I looked at the beautiful park, with a swing, a slippery slide and monkey bars. The monkey bars are quite hard, so I don't do them often. I don't like the swing because I feel sick when I go on it.

When I was riding I saw two dogs. One dog was big and one dog was little, like a sausage. I thought they were going to chase me, but they didn't. The little dog was licking the big dog's behind. Disgusting, disgusting, disgusting! So I went fast, fast by using my fire and lighting, and pedalled as fast I can.

I'm getting better at cycling every day. Daddy said I have to learn to ride, otherwise everyone in KL (I mean, Kuala Lumpur) will laugh at me. Soon I can take off my training wheels, if I learn properly. Thank God I can ride my bike, and we came back before the rain came.

Last Wednesday my family and I went to my new school. My new school is called the Australian International School. It had many classrooms, a library, and you can even have lunch there. In the library there were many books, more than one hundred. I read lots of books, including books about fire trucks and fire equipment. There was a computer that you can find books on. Pretty cool, right? In the library we had an exam. It was a hard exam. I only got four questions wrong in the exam. I am going to year 1 next year and my brother is going to year 3. After the exam we had a meeting with the principal and he said my reading is like an 8 year old.

Then we went to the shopping centre and we had donuts, a croissant with tomato, lettuce and cheese. That was yummy, yummy, yummy. After that we went to get a photo for my brother to give to the school. At lunchtime we went to KFC for a hamburger, and met the house agent there. The shopping centre has a river in the middle of it, and lots of boats that you can ride in. There were orange and black fish in the river. My brother’s favourite fish were the catfish with the whiskers.

On Wednesday we went to Kuala Lumpur because we needed to rent a new house. All my family went. One agent showed us two houses. I liked the houses because they're big, and near a playground. In the second house, there was a family living in it. I liked the fan because it had lots of buttons. Another agent showed us one house, and we are going to get his house. It was a nice house with two stories. They were painting it and putting in kitchen cupboards.

We've still got one more thing to get, and it's a new car. Actually, a second hand car. We have one car only. I had a good time there and then we went straight home. And I got hungry on the way home, so I ate animal biscuits. There were lion biscuits, tiger biscuits, elephant biscuits, and bunny biscuits, and lots more others. Sophie cried because Zac said "Don't have too much biscuits as you'll get sick." And Zac said that to me as well. The end.

A Visit to KL 02/11/2011

On Wednesday it was Deepavali (Festival of Lights) holiday so we went to KL to visit our cousins Lizzy and Isaac. Lizzy, Sophie, me and the maid, called Sol, watched Tinkerbell. I liked the movie because I liked watching Tinkerbell getting born, and it was funny, especially when Tinkerbell was trying to be a light fairy, but she accidentally got light on her bot-bot, and she got chased by the light bugs. JJ and Isaac watched Transformers. After that we all played lions but JJ couldn't stay still for long. I was the daddy lion, Lizzy was the mother lion, and JJ and Isaac were the brother lions. I liked playing lions because it was fun; I liked being the daddy lion.

For lunch we had Chinese roast pork with rice, and iced Milo. The grown-ups went out for Japanese without us. I wasn't happy because I love sushimi. But the grown-ups wanted to have a special talk together.

When we had to go home it was raining. Mummy drove because Daddy was away at a work, not fun, camp. There has been lots of lights and fireworks every night. Before, the lights and electricity went out because it is Deepavali and they used up all the electricity.

I like playing with Lizzy because she likes the same things as me, and JJ likes Isaac because they like the same things too. Lizzy and I like art and craft, such as drawing and painting, making things, and building castles. We also like watching the same movies. JJ and Isaac like playing transformers, and cars, and play fighting.

It was an excellent day; I had lots of fun.

On Saturday it was JJ’s school concert. He performed four times. He graduated. One of the songs was “Love in Any Language, Straight from the Heart.” He had to wear white gloves and use sign language. He was wearing a green T-shirt and dark blue jeans. He had to tap a girl on the shoulder to bring her down, and shake her hand because she forgot the actions. The other songs were “Tien Mi Mi” (Sweet, Sweet Honey), “There’s a Place in the Sun,” and “I Wanna Dance with Somebody.” I liked the singing and dancing because JJ looked cute. I liked “Tien Mi Mi” the best because I like the words and the actions. Daddy went on stage for a peg contest and he won! He had to clip all the pegs onto the coat hanger in the right order. He won three chocolate bars. The chocolate was yummy; I love hazelnut chocolate. He won against two people.

JJ received a certificate for graduating from Tadika (kindergarten). I had to stand on a chair to see him because everyone was in the way because I’m just a kid. JJ looked funny because he wasn’t smiling. He was wearing a hat and a black graduating gown. He enjoyed himself and his teacher gave him a chocolate.

I graduated from kindergarten last year and wore a hat and gown too. I had to tell the story “Hattie and the Fox’ to everyone without looking at the words. We got to hold candles and sing “This little light of mine” and wear make-up.

On the way home we saw lot of colourful, pretty lights because it’s Deepavali (Indian Hindu) festival. There were lots of people on the streets so it took longer to drive home.

When JJ got home he drank a Ribena because his head felt dizzy. After he drank it he felt better.
